French Clements

A marketing and editorial coordinator in our San Francisco office, French is dedicated to the integration of cultural practice into urban environments. In addition to his time as a professional dancer, performance-series curator, and dance-school co-director, he interned at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, taught for the Boston Ballet School, and led the press relations for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival; he has also written about culture and the arts for publications including the SF Weekly, the Village Voice, and Dance Magazine. His transition into the design world centered around a realization that site-specific concepts and human-centered values are expressed as much through the built environment as they are through the intangibles. Ask him about Venice!
